La aceptación de la historia nacional hace parte de la identidad de un pueblo. La construcción de la misma obedece a las diferentes valoraciones halladas en torno a cada uno de los hechos que marcaron su pasado. Durante más de sesenta años, el pueblo alemán ha experimentado un proceso de comprensión y aceptación de sus actitudes durante los doce años de la dictadura de Adolf Hitler y los sucesos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Los Juicios de Nuremberg marcaron el final de una época en la historia germana, fueron procesos con los cuales las Potencias Aliadas (El Reino Unido de la Gran Bretaña e Irlanda del Norte, la República Francesa, los Estados Unidos de América y la Unión de Repúblicas Socialistas Soviéticas) evaluaron la responsabilidad de los líderes nazis a lo largo de la dictadura de Hitler. Con los Juicios, se reconsideró la noción de Crímenes de Guerra a partir del Estatuto del Tribunal Militar Internacional, otorgado por el Acuerdo de Londres del 8 de agosto de 1945. Artículo que muestra los resultados del Proyecto Integrador “Legitimidad de los Juicios de Núremberg y Crímenes de Guerra” de la Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas y Políticas en la Universidad de San Buenaventura, sede Bogotá.
