Abstract
Introduction : l’application d’une pratique basée sur des résultats probants (PBRP) par les infirmières est inégale et inconstante. Contexte : des caractéristiques reliées aux infirmières-chefs et à l’organisation influenceraient leur pratique au détriment des résultats probants. Objectifs : cette revue intégrative des écrits, fondée sur le cadre théorique du Processus des connaissances à la pratique de Straus, Tetroe et Graham (1), identifie les barrières et les facteurs facilitants rencontrés par les infirmières-chefs lors de l’implantation d’une PBRP auprès d’infirmières soignantes à l’hôpital. Elle met aussi en évidence des interventions promouvant leur implantation de manière pérenne. Méthode : la recherche électronique d’études empiriques a été réalisée dans trois bases de données. Des 532 écrits répertoriés, 16 ont été retenus et analysés. Résultats : diverses interventions peuvent être appliquées par les infirmières-chefs et les organisations selon chacune des étapes du cadre théorique de Straus, Tetroe et Graham (1). Certaines interventions ciblant la communication, la capacité à être des modèles de rôle et le soutien auprès des infirmières soignantes gagneraient également à être effectuées en tout temps. Conclusion : en appliquant des interventions prometteuses, en tenant compte du contexte local, des barrières et des facteurs facilitants, les infirmières-chefs et les organisations pourraient favoriser une PBRP chez les infirmières soignantes.
