Cyclic biaxial strain affects U937 macrophage‐like morphology and enzymatic activities
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The authors have brought to our attention that there was an error in the article listed above published in J Biomed Mater Res 2006; 76A(1): 52–62. In Figure 4C the molecular weight of vinculin was inadvertently referred to as 50kDa when it should have been 117kDa. See revised figure on the next page. We regret any confusion caused by this error. The organization of U937 cell cytoskeletal and focal adhesion proteins is altered in response to strain. (A) Representative fluorescence micrographs of U937 cells labeled for F-actin (i, ii, and iii), vinculin (iv, v, and vi) or chromatin (vii, viii, and ix); static cells (i, iv and vii), cells strained at the center of the well where the strain is predominantly equi-biaxial (ii, v, and vi), or cells strained at the edge of the well where the strain is predominantly uniaxial (iii, vi, and ix). Arrows indicate the direction of the strain. (B) The graph shows the relative fluorescence intensity of both vinculin and actin protein per well in static (black bars) and strained (white bars) cells. (C) Immunoblots demonstrate the protein levels of actin and vinculin as loaded by a standard amount of DNA. [Color figure can be viewed in the online issue, which is available at http://www.interscience.wiley.com.]

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
