Cet article présente une étude de l’évaporation en convection mixte d’un film liquide ruisselant sur la paroi interne d’un cylindre vertical. La paroi externe est soumise à une densité de flux de chaleur constante et uniforme. Les équations classiques du ruissellement et de la convection mixte décrivent les transferts dans les phases liquide et vapeur. Leur discrétisation par une méthode implicite aux différences finies conduit à des systèmes d’équations algébriques résolus à l’aide des algorithmes de Thomas et de Gauss. Les échanges se produisant dans les phases liquide et vapeur sont analysés numériquement pour un film de liquide binaire (eau-éthanol ou eau-éthylène glycol) et expérimentalement pour un film d’eau. Les résultats numériques montrent que la composition et l’épaisseur du film jouent un rôle fondamental sur les transferts. La mesure de la température de la paroi interne du cylindre et de celles de la phase vapeur pour des densités de flux pariétal données permet une estimation expérimentale des nombres de Nusselt. L’influence sur les transferts dans le cylindre de différents paramètres tels que le débit de liquide, la vitesse de l’air à l’entrée du cylindre, la densité du flux de chaleur imposé à la paroi, est commentée.
