Abstract
Cet article fait le point sur la formation en méthodologie des futurs assistants sociaux belges. L’organisation de l’enseignement a subi de profondes transformations : évolution des titres requis vers la licence universitaire en travail social, présence réduite d’enseignants ayant une pratique effective sur le terrain parallèlement à leur temps de formation, diminution des heures de stages, etc. La formation devient de plus en plus technique et théorique, au détriment de la pratique. Il faut refuser l’appropriation de la formation par l’université qui formerait des travailleurs sociaux hyper qualifiés chargés de l’encadrement des assistants sociaux transformés en ouvriers qualifiés.
