EL INSTITUTO DE INVESTIGACIONES BIBLIOTECOLOGICAS Y DE LA INFORMACION (IIBI) HA TRABAJADO, EN LOS ULTIMOS CUATRO ANOS, EN ADECUAR SU MARCO NORMATIVO, INCREMENTAR LA CALIDAD DE SU INVESTIGACION Y SU VISIBILIDAD NACIONAL E INTERNACIONAL, CON EL OBJETIVO DE CONSOLIDARSE, AFIRMO SU DIRECTOR JAIME RIOS ORTEGA. AL RENDIR SU CUARTO INFORME DE LABORES, EXPLICO QUE LUEGO DE QUE EL CONSEJO UNIVERSITARIO APROBO LA TRANSFORMACION DEL CENTRO UNIVERSITARIO DE INVESTIGACIONES BIBLIOTECOLOGICAS EN EL IIBI, FUE NECESARIO ASEGURAR LAS CONDICIONES INSTITUCIONALES QUE PERMITIERAN SU CONSOLIDACION.
