Evaluación de prácticas quirúrgicas seguras al personal de enfermería en la mejora de la calidad de atención brindada en el centro quirúrgico del Hospital San Francisco de Quito

Abstract
En el mes de diciembre del 2016 el Hospital San Francisco de Quito del IESS recibio la acreditacion en calidad y seguridad del paciente, bajo el modelo de Acreditacion Canada Internacional, al cumplir con los protocolos y estandares que garantizan la entrega de los servicios de salud de calidad y calidez, asi como la observacion de medidas de cuidado de la seguridad del paciente. En la actualidad se desconoce el nivel de conocimiento y el cumplimiento de Practicas Quirurgicas Seguras por personal de enfermeria especificamente en la de Cirugia Segura, en la mejora de la calidad de atencion brindada, luego de haber obtenido dicha acreditacion en el Centro Quirurgico del Hospital San Francisco de Quito en el periodo diciembre 2016-enero 2017. Al obtener esta informacion se obtendran resultados valiosos para poder presentar la propuesta del presente estudio. Delimitacion del problema Para situar el problema de investigacion en un contexto definido y homogeneo se consideran tres elementos fundamentales, el espacio, el tiempo y las circunstancias o caracteristicas de orden particular que seran tomadas en consideracion y sobre las cuales se actuara para obtener la informacion necesaria para el estudio. Delimitacion espacial: Centro Quirurgico del Hospital San Francisco de Quito IESS. Delimitacion temporal: Periodo comprendido entre los meses de diciembre 2016-enero 2017. Delimitacion circunstancial: Personal de enfermeria encargado de la verificacion de la seguridad de la cirugia.
