Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In this work, an NdFeB isotropic magnetic powder - polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) composite is used as the magnetic flux source for the MHD pump. MHD pumps can only pump conductive fluids. While liquid metals such as mercury or gallium can be used as the conductive fluid, for most commercial applications saline fluids, such as blood, urine or sea water serve as the conductive medium. During the functioning of a saline fluid MHD pump, chlorine gas is evolved at the anode, which results in corrosion. Thus, cheaper metals such as copper and aluminum cannot be used as electrodes in such pumps. Electrodes made up of noble metals such as Gold and Platinum have been used, but they drive up the system cost and also need specialized fabrication processes for adequate sidewall coverage. Herein, CO 2 laser printing is used to convert the insulator polyimide (PI) to conductive graphene and this material is used as the electrode. A polyimide precursor is spun coated on a silicon wafer and thermally cured to form an 8 μm thick polyimide film. Selective printing of the CO 2 laser across the surface of the PI film with a speed of 92 mm/s and power of 3 W forms the laser induced graphene (LIG) electrodes.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
