Abstract

Introducao: Segundo a Carta de Ottawa (OMS, 1986), Promocao de Saude refere-se ao “processo de capacitacao da comunidade para atuar na melhoria de sua qualidade de vida e saude, incluindo uma participacao no controle deste processo. Assim, a promocao de saude nao e exclusiva do setor saude”. Neste contexto, o fonoaudiologo atua na promocao de saude buscando auxiliar na habilidade comunicativa do sujeito, algo fundamental para o processo de humanizacao do individuo e sua qualidade de vida. Objetivo: O estudo visa identificar e analisar acoes de promocao a saude realizadas em uma Unidade Basica de Saude, no contexto da formacao de graduandos em fonoaudiologia. Material e Metodo: Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo. Os dados foram coletados a partir dos relatorios academicos produzidos no 1o semestre de 2011, 2o semestre de 2011 e 1o semestre de 2012 no Estagio denominado Fonoaudiologia Comunitaria, disciplina da graduacao de Fonoaudiologia da UNICAMP. Resultados: As acoes fonoaudiologicas de Promocao de Saude relatadas no periodo envolveram o Centro de Saude, escolas e instituicoes do territorio em que a Unidade Basica se encontra. Conclusao: A atuacao em fonoaudiologia na promocao de saude contribuiu para o empoderamento da populacao sobre os cuidados com a saude individual e coletiva, assim como permitiu aos estagiarios vivencia e conhecimento da comunidade e suas demandas, afim de melhorar as formas de atuacao para obter maior qualidade de vida.
