Biología floral de Mostacillastrum gracielae (Brassicaceae)
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Mostacillastrum gracielae (Brassicaceae, Thelypodieae tribe) is a narrow species of Queretaro?s valley. The studies about floral morphology, anatomy and phenology of the species within the tribe Thelypodieae are very scarce. There is no information about important taxonomic characters (nectary) that delimit the tribal classification. The aims of this work were: 1) to describe the floral morphology and anatomy to give evidence which supports the segregation of M. gracielae from Chaunanthus, 2) to compare the morphology of nectaries between M. gracielae and C. petiolatus of the Thelypodieae tribe with the closest tribe, and 3) to describe floral phenology of three M. gracielae populations (La Canada, Cerro Azteca and Cajones) in Queretaro and El Marques municipalities. In each population it was studied: 1) the floral morphology and anatomy of M. gracielae, nine floral features were measured and histological sections were made, 2) flowers were observed under SEM to compare the nectary?s morphology between C. petiolatus and M. gracielae. To study the floral phenology: 3) field observations were performed in the three populations, and 4) morphological data of pollen?s grains and ovules? number were used to approach the reproductive system of M. gracielae through P/O?s ratio. Flowers of Cerro Azteca population are significantly smaller than the flowers from the other two populations Dorsal side of M. gracielae anthers have globose cells while C. petiolatus doesn?t have them. M. gracielae pollen grains have a smaller size than C. petiolatus pollen. Nectaries of both species are similar to the nectaries described for the Sisymbrieae tribe, nevertheless, nectar secretory stomata are above the lateral nectaries and not in the median nectaries. The flowers of all the populations open in the daytime, they are possibly homogamic and they last approximately two days. The population of La Canada had the highest floral display. There is a synchronized flowering peak among the populations. P/O ratio suggests that M. gracielae has a facultative autogamic reproduction system.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
