The above article, published online on 8 March 2017 in Wiley Online Library (www.onlinelibrary.wiley.com), has been retracted at the request of the authors. The retraction is made due to an error in Lemma 3.5, which results in errors in all of the major results reported in the paper. These issues are resolved in a corrected version of the paper [J. Geelen, B. Gerards, G. Whittle. Quasi-graphic matroids. J. Graph Theory 87 (2017), 253–264. https://doi.org/10.1002/jgt.22177]
