Abstract
Neste trabalho, estudam-se os aspectos de imagens da loucura na poesia do poeta baiano Carlos Anísio Melhor Filho, (1935-1991). Procede-se preliminarmente a uma contextualização do autor, situando o ambiente cultural em vários livros do autor, destacando-se, entre outros, Canto agônico, 1982 e O espelho das horas, publicado postumamente em 1998, considerando os temas do fazer poético propriamente dito, e também diálogos intertextuais. Para tanto, recorre-se a um instrumental teórico constituído por Roland Barthes (1974), além de Octavio Paz (1982). Em seguida, trabalha-se a questão na literatura de Mikhail Bakhtin (1997) e as teses da carnavalização. Postula-se que a poesia de Carlos Anísio Melhor Filho, apresenta sintonia com a produção contemporânea em alguns dos seus aspectos mais representativos. Poeta das horas nostálgicas, Carlos Anísio, delira entre as paredes dos manicômios onde esteve internado na capital baiana. Destilando lirismo por todos os poros, o poeta, filho do educador baiano Carlos Anísio Melhor, natural de Nazaré das Farinhas, recôncavo baiano, trilha a trajetória dos eleitos pela poesia a conduzir a tocha onírica da simplicidade. Na juventude fez parte da Geração Mapa, sob a liderança de Glauber Rocha responsável pela publicação da revista de mesmo nome e inspirada num poema de Muríllo Mendes da época. É com satisfação que apresentamos Carlos Anísio Melhor.
