A tradução de La chasse-galerie. Légendes canadiennes, de Honoré Beaugrand (1848-1906), publicada em 1900 e, agora em 2017, em edição bilíngue, lançada na Livraria Vanguarda (Rio Grande-RS), permite que se leia nos países de língua portuguesa uma das mais conhecidas e importantes lendas do Quebec. Trata-se de mais um trabalho que vem contribuir para o estreitamento dos laços literários e culturais que unem há mais de três décadas o Canadá ao Brasil, e vice-versa, ampliando o diálogo entre as vozes daqui e as de lá. Representa ainda uma contribuição significativa para a dinamização dos estudos comparados nos dois países.
