Abstract
Norm, Process of Translation and New Translation Challenges, or on Canadian Hybridity of Literature and Translation Possibilities The analysis contributes to the reflection on whether the norm in the translation defined as one original formulated in one language and its translation still makes sense in the modern hybrid world. That one is characterized by obliterating borders and by emerging of literary texts in which translation often becomes an inherent part of the creative process. An illustration of this phenomenon comes from Canadian literature, in which the translation is often not only the main axis of thematic aspect, but also an element determining its creation.
