Abstract
EDITORIAL -MOTIVAÇÃO E CONFLITOConflitos organizacionais sempre foram tema recorrente de estudos acadêmicos.Por diferentes razões.A principal delas era a percepção de que conflitos continham sinais, mais ou menos visíveis, da relação de poder na organização.Boa parte das vezes, os conflitos embutiam os sintomas dos diversos processos de sucessão na empresa.Nessa perspectiva, as disputas também traduziam expectativas estratégicas.Com as mudanças de mercado impostas pela globalização, desde a década final do século passado, os jogos de poder -e os conflitos dele resultante -também se relacionavam às mudanças culturais que desenhavam formatos bem variáveis para a evolução das carreiras.Nesse processo, fatores motivacionais passaram a incluir dinâmicas de conflito.Identificar situações geradoras de conflito, além de desenvolver a habilidade de contorna-las, também representavam significativos impulsos motivacionais.Como reconhecido em literatura consolidada, fator motivacional é o responsável maior pela intensidade e persistência exigida para a evolução de carreira.Porém, é perceptível que a trajetória ascendente esbarra em situações de disputa.Por esta razão, compreender melhor a complexa rela-
