Abstract
Esta comunicacao tem como base a intervencao social realizada no campo sociodesportivo, preconizada pelo Servico Social, nos projetos C@pacitar E4G e C@pacitar+ E5G, promovidos pela Câmara Municipal do Funchal1, geridos pela Proinov2 e financiados pelo Programa Escolhas3, entre 2010 e 2015, na freguesia de Santo Antonio no Funchal. Pretende dar a conhecer a utilizacao da metodologia sociodesportiva de futebol de rua4, enquanto ferramenta de promocao da inclusao social pelo desporto, de criancas e jovens entre os seis e os 24 anos, em situacao de vulnerabilidade social residentes neste territorio5, com forte motivacao para a pratica do lazer desportivo e, na sua maioria, com expetativas de desenvolvimento no futebol profissional. Apresentam-se as boas praticas concretizadas pelas atividades ‘Escolinha Social de Futebol de Rua’ e ‘Futebol de Rua’ e os resultados obtidos na prevencao de comportamentos de risco, na ocupacao dos tempos livres, na reducao do absentismo escolar, na promocao do sucesso educativo e na insercao socioprofissional, atraves da promocao de competencias pessoais e sociais, que a pratica do futebol de rua permite, nos processos de autonomizacao e inclusao dos jovens participantes. This communication is based on the social intervention carried out in the socio sportive field of social work in C@pacitar E4G and C@pacitar+E5G Project, promoted by the Municipality of Funchal, managed by Proinov and funded by the Escolhas Program, between 2010 and 2015, in Santo Antonio civil parish, in Funchal. It intends to present the use of street soccer socio sportive methodology, as a tool to promote social inclusion through sport, of children and youth between six and 24 years, in situation of social vulnerability in the territory, with a strong motivation for sports leisure practice and, for the most, with expectations of development in professional football. It presents the good practices implemented by the ‘Escolinha social de futebol de rua’ and ‘Futebol de rua’ activities and the results obtained in the prevention of risk behaviors, occupation of leisure time, reduction of school absenteeism, educational success and socio-professional insertion, through the promotion of personal and social skills, which the street soccer practice allows, in the empowerment and inclusion processes of young participants.
