Abstract
Les universites s’ouvrent au monde, au Quebec comme ailleurs. Ce phenomene est visible dans tous les aspects de la vie universitaire et, de facon plus fondamentale, dans la recherche. En effet, que l’on pense a la mondialisation de l’economie, a l’effet de serre, aux crises humanitaires, aux migrations, a l’expansion des organisations non gouvernementales, au fondamentalisme religieux ou au terrorisme, les evenements internationaux nous interpellent dans toutes les spheres du savoir. Desormais, les thematiques internationales sont abordees dans la plupart des disciplines en sciences sociales, et l’on assiste a un reel rapprochement multidisciplinaire. Le present ouvrage est le fruit d’une reflexion visant a ouvrir un dialogue qui permette de comprendre comment differents domaines de specialisation abordent l’international sur les plans conceptuel et theorique, et de mieux saisir les enjeux qui ont marque les etudes internationales au cours des dernieres annees. Sous la direction de Francois Crepeau et Jean-Philippe Therien, respectivement directeur scientifique et directeur scientifique adjoint du CERIUM, ce livre presente les contributions de Francois Crepeau, Michel Fortmann, Jean-Francois Gareau, Mamoudou Gazibo et Jane Jenson, Alexis Nouss, Samir Saul, Jean-Philippe Therien, Jean-Guy Vaillancourt et Marie-Joelle Zahar.
