I et black box-teater står en kvinne i sort badedrakt foran en stor plastpresenning fylt med rått selspekk. Kvinnen går usikkert frem og tilbake, stirrer forsiktig mot kjøttet. Etter en stund krydrer hun spekket med salt før hun begynner å gestikulere og bøye seg ned mot det. Deretter skjærer hun i det med en ulu, en kniv brukt av inuittkvinner i både Grønland, Canada og Alaska. Etter disse nærmest seremonielle handlingene, reiser hun seg og poserer med forvrengte ansiktsuttrykk. Hun tar et stykke spekk i munnen og beveger seg ut mot publikum. Hun ligner litt på en maskert figur eller en hvalross – olje og blod fra kjøttet flyter nedover kroppen hennes. Disse dyriske gestene endres i neste øyeblikk idet hun løfter uluen over hodet i en maktpositur. En overdrevet rynke i pannen forstyrrer dog denne ellers så seriøse gestus. Også denne posituren forlates hurtig idet kvinnen begynner å kutte i noe spekk hun har klemt mellom brystene mens hun smiler som en pinup-jente. Deretter plukker hun opp et glass fylt med hvit maling. Hun presser glasset mot lysken og lar den hvite malingen dryppe langsomt utover kjøttet på gulvet. Til slutt tar hun krydder på både seg selv og på spekket før hun pakker seg inn i plastpresenningen og kryper av scenen med spor av maling og fett etter seg.
