MEMBRANA DE LÁTEX NA RECONSTRUÇÃO DE AVULSÃO DE TENDÃO PRÉ-PÚBICO EM UM CÃO - RELATO DE CASO

Abstract
A membrana de latex e um biomaterial com propriedades angiogenicas que aceleram a reparacao tecidual. Descreve-se o caso de uma cadela, Labrador, com avulsao de tendao pre-pubico por atropelamento. A paciente fora submetida a celiotomia exploratoria em outro estabelecimento e entao trazida para segunda avaliacao, em que foi detectada a ruptura. Apos confirmacao da estabilidade cardiorrespiratoria, o animal foi anestesiado e realizada lavagem da ferida com iodo topico 1% diluido em cloreto de sodio 0,9% (1:1000). Apos obtencao do plano anestesico e anti-sepsia, realizou-se incisao eliptica ao redor da ferida da celiotomia e foi retirada uma faixa de pele pois a ferida encontrava-se com aspecto inflamatorio. Apos a exerese, adentrou-se a cavidade abdominal e o musculo reto abdominal (MRA) foi identificado. As lesoes peritoneais e mesentericas foram suturadas com pontos simples continuo com fio de poliglactina 910 3-0. Foram realizadas perfuracoes no pube para ancorar a sutura do tendao do MRA com fio de nailon 1, no entanto nao obteve-se o fechamento total da cavidade, assim, optou-se pela implantacao da membrana de latex in natura nao centrifugada a qual foi moldada e fixada com fios de nailon 2-0 com sutura simples interrompida. A paciente retornou aos 10 dias para a remocao dos pontos e depois aos 30 dias para reavaliacao em que se constatou que nao havia eventracao o que permite concluir que a curto prazo a membrana foi eficiente mas que estudos adicionais sao necessarios acerca da biocompatibilidade.
