espanolObjetivo: evaluar la eficacia de una investigacion de Terapia Ocupacional para mejorar el desempeno en las actividades de la vida diaria en personas que padecen la enfermedad del Parkinson. Metodos: estudio cuasi experimental. Previamente a la intervencion se evaluaron las caracteristicas fisicas, funcionales y psicologicas de los participantes (UPDRS) y variables de cambio como la fatiga (FSS), el temblor (Fahn-Tolosa-Marin), el equilibrio (TUG) y la independencia funcional de los participantes en la realizacion de actividades de la vida diaria (COMP, ADL, FIM). La intervencion se realizo a domicilio en 8 participantes con una edad media de 73 anos con cuatro sesiones durante cuatro semanas en las que se intervino sobre las tres actividades de la vida diaria seleccionadas tras la cumplimentacion de la Medida Canadiense del Desempeno Ocupacional. Se realizo una evaluacion post-intervencion con el objetivo de evaluar la eficacia de la misma. Resultados: se obtuvieron cambios significativos en el desempeno de las actividades de la vida diaria y en la satisfaccion, no hubo cambios en los sintomas como el temblor y el equilibrio. Conclusion: se destaco como efectiva una intervencion de terapia ocupacional domiciliaria en personas con enfermedad del Parkinson para el desempeno de las actividades de la vida diaria y la satisfaccion. Methods: quasi-experimental study. Before intervention, evaluate physical, funtional and psychological characteristics of participants (UPDRS) and changeable variable as a fatigue (FSS), trembling (Fahn-Tolosa-Marin), balance (TUG) and functional independence on activities of daily life (COMP, ADL, FIM). The intervention has been made with 8 participants of 73 years old at home during four weeks in four sessions. Creating a intervention in three activities of daily life selected on the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. Realice a Post-intervention evaluation to evaluate effectivity in the intervention. Results: Obtain significant changes activities of daily life performance and satisfaction, there were no changes in symptoms as trembling and balance. Conclusion: emphsise Occupational Therapy intervention at home with people suffering Parkinson's disease has been effective to improve performance and satisfaction on activities of daily life.
