P16.11: First trimester measurement of subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue thickness for the prediction of pre‐eclampsia
Bibliographic record
Abstract
To estimate the predictive value of first-trimester subcutaneous (SAT) and visceral (VAT) adipose tissues measurement for pre-eclampsia. We performed a prospective study of singleton pregnant women recruited at the time of 11–14 weeks ultrasound. Videos of abdominal wall above the uterus were collected and stored for subsequent measurement of SAT and VAT performed by 2 investigators blinded to patients characteristics and obstetrical outcomes. Participants were followed until delivery. Outcomes of interest included late onset pre-eclampsia (>36 weeks), 34–36 weeks pre-eclampsia and early-onset pre-eclampsia (<34 weeks). Parametric, non-parametric and ROC curves analyses were used. 870 participants were recruited. We observed that 1st trimester SAT (Area under the ROC curve: 63%; 95%CI: 54 – 72%, p < 0.01) was predictive of pre-eclampsia while the association with VAT was not significant (Area under the ROC curve: 58%; 95%CI: 48 – 67%, p = 0.13). Women who developed pre-eclampsia had a mean SAT of 19 ± 7 mm compared to 16 ± 7 mm for those who did not (p < 0.01). We observed no difference in the mean and median 1st trimester SAT between the different subgroups of pre-eclampsia (see figure). Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
