Abstract
The business plan for the creation of “Histo Crafts”, localized in the canton of Pujili that will export clay handicrafts, which has its differentiation by offering to the consumer the option of know the history behind the product through videos, to Toronto, Canada, has as principal objective to check the existence of a commercial and financial viability. Furthermore, with the setting up of this business it will satisfy the Toronto citizens’ necessity of buying this kind of handicfrats in their same city. In order to achieve these objectives, PEST and PORTER analysis were used and both of them demonstrated the existence of opportunities, for the creation of this business. Through the costumer analysis, based in qualitative and quantitative research, the level of acceptance in the potential costumers was determined, and also their behavior and characteristics. After proving the business opportunity, a marketing plan was developed. It counts with a value proposal and a marketing mix sustainable at least for five years. Additionally, it is intended to raise a suitable business philosophy, and an organizational structure according with the type and size of business, the necessary processes for the company’s operation and value chain were detailed. A comparison with companies of the same industry was also made. In addition, a five financial projection proved the financial viability; ascertaining the objectives of the project.
