Abstract
Le Rendez-vous Saint-Laurent s’est tenu les 12 et 13 mars 2013 a Montreal a l’hotel Holiday Inn. Organise par le Groupe de travail Suivi de l’etat du Saint-Laurent, l’evenement a ete l’occasion pour les participants et collaborateurs de presenter les plus recents resultats obtenus a partir des 21 indicateurs environnementaux du Programme Suivi de l’etat du Saint-Laurent. Une place a aussi ete faite a d’autres intervenants pour mettre en valeur leurs activites de suivi du Saint-Laurent et pour en discuter. Le Rendez-vous en etait a sa quatrieme edition. D’abord, le programme a ete lance a Quebec en 2003; ensuite, le Rendez-vous s’est tenu a Nicolet en 2006; puis, le 20e anniversaire du Plan Saint-Laurent a eu lieu a Quebec en 2008. Il s’agit de l’un des mecanismes de diffusion du Programme Suivi de l’etat du Saint-Laurent prevu dans le Plan d’action Saint-Laurent 2011-2026. L’evenement a regroupe pres de 110 invites venus partager et prendre connaissance des derniers resultats du Programme Suivi de l’etat du Saint-Laurent ainsi que participer a des discussions en plenieres permettant de trouver des pistes d’amelioration de certains aspects du programme en vigueur. Les participants provenaient de groupes environnementaux (non gouvernementaux), de regroupements d’usagers du fleuve, du milieu universitaire et des differents paliers gouvernementaux interesses a l’etat du Saint-Laurent.
