Que sont les recherches partenariales et collaboratives?? Differant du mode majoritaire de recherche academique ou universitaire, ce type de recherches se fonde sur des cooperations entre acteurs heterogenes, qui sont sources de co-construction de recherche et de co-production de connaissances. En France, le terme de «?recherche collaborative?» est utilise, alors qu’au Quebec, celui de «?recherche partenariale?» est privilegie. Pour l’essentiel, il s’agit de recherches associant, d’une part, les chercheurs universitaires dont la recherche est l’activite professionnelle et, d’autre part, des acteurs d’autres milieux professionnels, associatifs ou de la societe civile, c’est-a-dire des acteurs en dehors des spheres universitaires ou apparentees. Cet ouvrage explore et approfondit ce champ de pratiques qualifie ici de «?recherche partenariale et collaborative?». Ces recherches partenariales et collaboratives ne s’accompagnent pas toujours d’une volonte d’action transformatrice (comme c’est par contre explicitement le cas dans la recherche-action ou la recherche-­intervention) et peuvent avoir avant tout une visee cognitive et epistemique. L’ouvrage permet d’approfondir et de systematiser ces pratiques de recherche en les inscrivant dans les approches de recherche actuelles. Il offre des cles de comprehension et d’analyses essentielles pour prendre la mesure des interets et des enjeux, notamment scientifiques et sociaux, de ces recherches partenariales et collaboratives devenues ici un objet de recherche. L’ouvrage repose sur des collaborations internationales de longue duree, menees entre une vingtaine de chercheurs francais, quebecois et suisses issus de plusieurs disciplines des sciences humaines et sociales.
