Abstract
El soporte de pilotes anclados discontinuos es uno de los sistemas de retención más utilizados en excavaciones profundas temporales en Santiago, Chile. El sistema ha presentado un comportamiento satisfactorio en condiciones estáticas y sísmicas, con deformaciones despreciables. Estas observaciones sugieren que los procedimientos de diseño y los requisitos del código local son conservadores y una mejor comprensión del comportamiento físico conduciría a optimizar las metodologías de diseño. Este artículo presenta un análisis estático y dinámico de una excavación profunda apoyada en pilotes preexcavada monitoreada. Se desarrolló y calibró un modelo de elementos finitos basado en medidas de desplazamiento estático, caracterización geofísica y de laboratorio mediante la técnica de gradación paralela. Las respuestas dinámicas a las presiones laterales inducidas por terremotos, inducidas. Se estudiaron las fuerzas internas y el desplazamiento permanente posterior al terremoto para un conjunto de movimientos de tierra chilenos, escalados para ser representativos de los códigos de diseño sísmico actuales. Con base en estos resultados, se proporcionan algunas conclusiones y recomendaciones sobre el diseño de procedimientos.
