Abstract
Voor de glastuinbouw in de regio Oostland worden in drie scenario's voor 2030 op energiegebied vergaande veranderingen voorzien. De scenario's maken onderscheid tussen een pessimistische, een gematigde en een optimistische ontwikkeling van de glastuinbouw in de regio Oostland. De veranderingen zijn het grootst op het vlak van de energievoorzieningen, die minder zullen steunen op aardgas en meer op duurzame bronnen en inkoop van warmte en elektriciteit bij derden, en komen voort uit mutaties in de energievraag en de sectorstructuur, verduurzamingsinspanningen van de glastuinbouwbedrijven met hun partners en overheidsbeleid. De veranderingen leiden tot CO 2emissiereductie en verhoging van het aandeel duurzame energie. Naar voren is gekomen dat energieverduurzaming samenhangt met de modernisering van kassen, dat samenwerking tussen bedrijven, hun partners en overheden essentieel is en uitbreiding van energienetwerken van groot belang is. De Oostlandse glastuinbouw onderscheidt zich met eigen kenmerken qua sectorstructuur, energievraag en energievoorziening van de landelijke glastuinbouw.
