Expressivité et typologies du néologisme littéraire dans l'oeuvre de Réjean Ducharme

Abstract
Réjean Ducharme, écrivain et dramaturge québécois, appartient sans doute à la catégorie des écrivains affranchis, c’est-à-dire ceux qui – si l’on s’en tient à la définition d’Albert Doppagne – «estiment avoir le droit de se forger une langue aux dimensions de leur pensée, de leur sensibilité ou de leur oeuvre». Doppagne n’attribue cette catégorie qu’à Rabelais, Queneau, Céline et à peu d’autres. La néologie ducharmienne n’est pas souvent traitée dans son aspect théorique, tout en étant reconnue en tant qu’une des caractéristiques principales de son écriture. Nous proposons ici un aperçu de quelques néologismes parmi les plus frappants et signifiants tirés des romans de l’auteur tels que "Le nez qui voque", "L’Avalée des avalés", "L’Océantume" et "Gros mots", afin de mettre en évidence les principaux procédés de formation qui en sont à l’origine (ceux-ci ne sont que très rarement indépendants les uns des autres), et d’avancer des hypothèses sur la fonction expressive du néologisme ducharmien aussi bien que sur les intentions communicatives et esthétiques de l’écrivain.
