EFEKTIFITAS PEMBERDAYAAN KADER BALITA SEHAT

Abstract
Pengabdian masyarakat memberikan pemberdayaan kader balita tentang bagaimana usaha peningkatan pendapatan keluarga di Desa Kebonrejo. Desa Kebonrejo merupakan bagian wilayah Kecamatan Kepung Kabupaten Kediri dan termasuk Type Desa Swakarya. Jumlah penduduk yang tinggal di Desa Kebunrejo sejumlah 4115 Orang. Kegiatan posyandu balita dalam bentuk kelas balita yang dilaksanakan setiap satu bulan sekali di minggu kedua. Kegiatan tersebut bisa terlaksana dengan baik karena peran aktif dari kader Desa Kebonrejo. Kadernya berdedikasi tinggi dan handal dalam meningkatkan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Kader aktif yang dimiliki oleh Desa Kebonrejo berjumlah 18 orang. Permasalahan mitra antara lain kader kurang inovatif dalam menyajikan makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) ketika ada kelas balita monoton hanya menyajikan bubur kacang hijau dan biscuit MP-ASI, Masih terdapat kasus balita yang gizi kurang atau BGM mencapai angka 0,08% dari jumlah total balita di Desa Kebonrejo. Solusi untuk permasalahn mitra antara lain : bimbingan kader balita sehat untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang makanan pendamping MP-ASI sehingga mampu meproduksi makanan yang kualitas dan kuantitas baik, pemasaran produk dengan membuka stand. Luaran yang dihasilkan Publikasi liputan di media Koran Radar Kediri, video kegiatan pembuatan MP-ASI; HKI artikel, pembuatan poster dan exbanner; Produk MP-ASI sesuai dengan klasifikasi usia balita berdasarkan panduan PMBA, dengan Paket A, Paket B, Paket c.. Untuk mewujudkan upaya tersebut maka perlu ditingkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan ketrampilan para kader balita terutama dalam hal ketrampilan untuk nutrisi balita.
