Abstract
Depuis quelques annes, plusieurs guides de franais qubcois destins aux touristes francophones ont fait leur apparition sur les tablettes des librairies et semblent connatre un succs de vente important si l'on se fie au nombre de leurs rditions. Ces ouvrages sont de parfaits tmoins de lexicographie profane, c'est--dire de description de la langue par des non-spcialistes. Le prsent article vise trois objectifs : d'abord prsenter cinq guides rcents et leurs auteurs; ensuite tudier les arguments voqus pour expliquer aux touristes le rapport distinct des Qubcois l'anglais; enfin analyser, sous un angle plus lexicographique, le traitement accord dans ces guides un certain nombre d'anglicismes.
