Abstract
ilitante active depuis plus de cinquante ans, Monique Dental a construit un parcours politique nourri de multiples révoltes contre les rapports de domination de classe, coloniale et patriarcale.Dans cette trajectoire engagée, le féminisme et ses différents combats sont devenus centraux.Mais, par son parcours, ses choix militants et ses réflexions, Monique Dental occupe une place singulière dans le paysage féministe en France : ancrée dans le courant « lutte des classes », qui défend depuis les années 1970 une articulation des combats féministes et anticapitalistes, elle entretient un rapport distant aux syndicats et partis politiques quand la plupart des féministes « lutte des classes » s'y engagent.Féministe radicale, elle n'hésite pas à travailler et militer dans les institutions du féminisme d'État et à s'engager pour la parité en politique.Attachée à la lutte collective, elle tient farouchement à son indépendance de pensée et d'action et fonde, dès la fin des années 1970, le collectif de pratiques et de réflexions féministes « Ruptures ».Cette singularité apparaît aussi par l'interrogation permanente qui anime Monique Dental sur les formes que doit prendre la protestation féministe.
