Abstract
Le fait de prendre conscience que chaque individu, dans son intimité, ressent l’appel \nde l’Autre traverse la pensée poétique de Louise Dupré, et ce depuis son premier recueil, "La \npeau familière" (1983). Les œuvres "Bonheur" (1988), "Noir déjà" (1993) et "Tous près" (1998) se démarquent \npar un approfondissement de la thématique du sujet porteur de la souffrance et de la \nmort de ses semblables. En fait, dans les recueils "Plus haut que les flammes" (2010) et "La main \nhantée" (2016) le je féminin assume la responsabilité d’être né "au sein d’une espèce/prête \nà tuer" (69). Cependant, il ne s’approprie pas nécessairement la cruauté du monde; bien au \ncontraire, sa posture vacille entre la honte d’appartenir à une race de tueurs et le lien qui se tisse \navec les victimes. Comment accepter cette dyade bourreau/victime qui loge dans les tréfonds du même sujet? Et \ncomment ne pas succomber à la tentation de concevoir la poésie comme un sombre accompagnement \nmortuaire? Si le noir est déjà là, de quelle façon le je féminin peut-il entrevoir une \nlumière qui malgré tout existe encore? C’est à ces questions que répondra mon article.
