Abstract
Desa Tanjung Alai berada di wilayah Kecamatan XIII Koto Kampar Provinsi Riau, pertemuan hilir Sungai Gulamo dengan Sungai Kampar. Pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Kampar telah mengembangkan potensi pariwisata di Desa Tanjung Alai. Misalnya memiliki daya tarik berupa pemandangan alam yang indah, jarak tempuh dari Kota Pekanbaru ke Desa Tanjung Alai sekitar 2 jam (21 km), kawasan tangkapan air, situs sejarah Candi Muara Takus, Puncak Pukatan sebagai kawasan pendakian dan air terjun Pulo Simo. Desa Tanjung Alai juga memiliki potensi sebagai lahan perkebunan karet, kelapa sawit, gambir, cokelat dan kelapa. Buah kelapa memiliki peluang dengan nilai ekonomi yang cukup tinggi, dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk penganekaragaman produk olahan kelapa dan mendukung produk industri olahan pangan. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu menjadikan Desa Tanjung Alai sebagai desa binaan dari LPPM Universitas Riau dengan melakukan kegiatan pengolahan kelapa jelly dan manisan kelapa. Manfaat kegiatan yaitu dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif usaha untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah perpaduan antara metode penyuluhan dan praktek pengolahan kelapa jelly dan manisan kelapa. Khalayak sasaran yang strategis dalam kegiatan desa binaan ini adalah ibu PKK berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil evaluasi persepsi peserta menyatakan bahwa sangat setuju (59,2%) diadakan kegiatan ini, menerima dan mempraktekkan materi pelatihan pengolahan kelapa jelly dan manisan kelapa sebagai peluang untuk alternatif pendapatan masyarakat. Analisis ekonomi dari olahan kelapa jelly sebesar Rp. 4.653.600/bulan dan manisan kelapa sebesar Rp. 2.248.800/bulan.
