Introduction : Actuellement, la population francaise vieillit, augmentant le nombre de personnes touchees par la maladie d’Alzheimer. Pour garantir les prises en charge (PEC), des plans Alzheimer sont mis en place, proposant par exemple l’ouverture d’accueil de jour. Ainsi, l’objectif de ce memoire est de definir l’accompagnement ergotherapique cible sur les activites de la vie quotidienne dans l’amelioration de la qualite de vie des personnes touchees par la MA dans un accueil de jour. Methode : Une etude qualitative avec des entretiens semi-directifs a ete choisie, fondee sur les theories du Modele Canadien du Rendement et de l’Engagement Occupationnel, la qualite de vie et l’autonomie, l’independance. Pour repondre a ma question, des entretiens avec trois ergotherapeutes travaillant en accueil de jour ont ete realises. Resultats : Les PEC en ergotherapie et en general ont un impact des le debut sur la reduction des troubles du comportement et l’amelioration des liens sociaux. Cela permet aux personnes de s’engager dans les activites. Les capacites sont stimulees et peuvent etre alors maintenues. Ainsi, a domicile la personne peut avoir une meilleure qualite de vie. Les ergotherapeutes ont aussi un role important dans la coordination avec les equipes et les familles Conclusion : L’ accompagnement en ergotherapie semble ameliorer la qualite de vie de la personne malade sur certains points grâce aux activites proposees. Les activites favorisent l’autonomie et l’independance. Une orientation vers des prises en charge a domicile dans le cadre de l’accueil de jour pourrait etre reflechi.
