Dans le cadre d'un cheminement de recherche, nous nous interessons a la problematique de la recuperation politique et mediatique d’evenements violents et emotionnels, comme une fusillade, un attentat, un incident diplomatique ou un conflit militaire. Des blâmes internationaux, par exemple envers des communautes minoritaires, des organisations etrangeres ou des Etats rivaux, sont parfois attribues pour expliquer de tels evenements. Ces blâmes sont vehicules et circulent par l’entremise de nouvelles journalistiques, parfois de maniere a fabriquer l’adhesion de la population envers des ripostes liberticides, comme des lois interieures de surveillance institutionnelle, ou envers des interventions militaires a l'etranger, comme celle a laquelle le Canada a participeen Syrie en 2014. Notre objectif est d'explorer, de comprendre et de decrire les conditions de production qui faconnent le contenu et le discours journalistiques typiques au sujet des blâmes et des responsabilites plausibles pour l'evenement durant la temporalite d'incertitude et d'insecurite qui le suit. Au fil de la chaine de construction de l'information et de production des nouvelles, nous anticipons des tensions entre des decisions et comportements au sein des entreprises de presse, avec des normes institutionnelles et des ideaux professionnels qui definissent et balisent, en temps normal, les pratiques des producteurs de nouvelles.
