Abstract
Le présent article analyse deux textes écrits par deux écrivaines canadiennes d’origine vietnamienne : Les maisons de cristal (1990) d’Annick Perrot-Bishop et Ru (2009) de Kim Thúy. À travers une analyse narratologique qui tient compte des caractéristiques génériques de genre et de mémoire lors du processus de migration, nous examinerons leurs similitudes par rapport à en ce qui concerne la transcription de l’expérience de l’arrivée dans une nouvelle culture. Nous mettrons en évidence comment la voix autodiégétique donne la possibilité d’entendre des voix migrantes rarement entendues : à la fois féminines et enfantines. La focalisation interne reflète une approche multiperspectiviste qui relativise les positions individuelles et rend compte de la complexité de la migration. Enfin, l’hybridité du genre et la structure fragmentaire reproduisent l’expérience migratoire non seulement de manière esthétique, mais aussi émotive.
