L’article présente les motivations, le cadre conceptuel et la démarche méthodologique d’un projet de recherche en démarrage qui vise à étudier la gestion des données de recherche. Le point de vue adopté est celui des professionnels de l’information, en regard de la gouvernance de l’information. Différents enjeux de la gestion des données de recherche sont explorés, dont les tensions liées au partage des données et à l’éthique de la recherche, et la question de savoir à qui incombe la responsabilité de cette gestion. La discussion motive la démarche méthodologique adoptée (enquêtes sur la situation actuelle et modélisation théorique de l’écosystème existant) et elle préfigure les solutions préconisées par le projet de recherche.
