Abstract
Senam hamil adalah terapi latihan gerak untuk mempersiapkan ibu hamil secara fisikatau mental, agar persalinannya dapat berjalan secara spontan. Proses persalinan merupakanproses pengeluaran janin dari dalam rahim ke luar rahim melalui jalan lahir. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara senam hamil dengan proses persalinan pada ibubersalin.Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif korelatif. Desain yang digunakan cross sectional. Teknikpengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling Populasi penelitian seluruh ibubersalin yang mengikuti senam hamil periode Januari- Desember 2014 di wilayah KerjaPuskesmas Sumowono Kabupaten Semarang. Besar sampel 132 responden. Analisis datamenggunakan uji Chi Square.Hasil penelitian yang mengikuti senam hamil teratur dan proses persalinannya spontan88,2%. Sedangkan yang mengikuti senam hamil teratur dan proses persalinannya tidakspontan 56,4%. (0,05). Melalui uji Chi Square didapatkan nilai p-value 0,000<α (0,05)sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara senam hamil terhadapproses persalinan pada ibu bersalin di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sumowono KabupatenSemarang.Hal ini menunjukkan dengan melakukan senam hamil secara teratur dapat membantuproses persalinan. Untuk itu setiap ibu hamil diharapkan dapat mengikuti kelas senam hamildi lingkungan tempat tinggalnya.
