Abstract
Les travaux de Pascale Casanova et de Raoul Boudreau ont permis, grâce au modèle centre-périphérie, de situer la littérature acadienne dans un contexte international. Cet article examine une structure concurrente à cette structure institutionnelle, celle des formes littéraires présentes dans les œuvres. D’une part, il s’agit de replacer les œuvres des auteurs acadiens France Daigle et Herménégilde Chiasson dans l’histoire internationale de la forme encyclopédique. D’autre part, il s’agit de voir comment l’encyclopédie est réinterprétée dans le contexte littéraire acadien. Les œuvres s’inscrivent à la fois dans l’histoire de l’art et dans l’histoire de la communauté, proposant une conception culturelle de la forme artistique abstraite. En définitive, cet article propose une nouvelle façon d’envisager la littérature acadienne dans un contexte mondial, par l’étude de la circulation des formes dans le temps et entre les espaces littéraires, plutôt que l’étude de la circulation institutionnelle des œuvres ou des auteurs.
