CanditolL'exposition itinérante La Dijfïérence, co-réalisée par trois musées de société -québécois, français et suisse-présente les trois points de vue d°une réflexion ethnologique autour d'un même thème, autrement dit de la transposition muséographique d°un concept : la dzfiérenceê.Elle offre aux visiteurs la possibilité de "comparer le sens et la forme que les musées donnent à leur message et au patrimoine qu'ils présentent".Notre propos vise à présenter, à partir de résultats d°une enquête empirique, les modalités de sa réception par différentes catégories de publics et plus précisément, les conditions d'accessibilité, d'énonciation et de reconnaissance des savoirs véhiculés par le média exposition.L°étude de cette exposition permet de traiter la problématique de la transposition du dispositif scolaire (formel) au dispositif muséal (non formel), et de mesurer le rôle des interfaces (agencement spatial d°objets, de textes, d'images. ..) dans l°accès au savoir.1 Centre de recherche sur les liens sociaux (CERLIS), CNRSíParis V. 2 Une clause de non-communication a été signée en 1995 entre les trois partenaires acceptant la règle du jeu: budget limité, place mesurée (200m2), itinérance (exposition démontable).Recherches en communication, n° 16 ( 2001). 1 Ce texte s'inspire largement des travaux présentés dans ma thèse de doctorat : N.
