Article Abstract This Academic Highlights section of The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry presents the highlights of the teleconference series "Activating and Sedating Properties of Medications Used for the Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder and Their Effect on Patient Functioning," which were held in December 2018 and January and February 2019. The teleconferences were chaired by Leslie L. Citrome, MD, MPH, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, New York Medical College, Valhalla. The faculty were Roger S.
