Dans cette recherche nous développons un modèle océan-atmosphère-glace de mer de complexité réduite afin d'étudier la réponse transitoire du climat au forçage de Milankovitch. La composante océanique est un modèle zonalement intégré de circulation océanique. La composante atmosphérique est un modèle unidimensionnel (latitudinal) du bilan énergétique de l'atmosphère. Nous utilisons un modèle thermodynamique de glace de mer. Les expériences numériques suivantes sont réalisées sur la base de ce modèle.Premièrement, deux expériences numériques sont effectuées pour l'intervalle de temps 5-3 Myr BP. Une expérience ne comprend pas la glace de mer, ni l'Océan Arctique; l'autre expérience comprend ces deux caractéristiques. Un cycle hydrologique fixe est utilisé dans les deux cas. Les résultats principaux de ces expériences sont: (i) les changements de la température de l'atmosphère suivent principalement les changements de la moyenne annuelle d'insolation induits par l'obliquité, (ii) la partition de la variabilité de la température moyenne annuelle de l'océan parmi différentes fréquences de Milankovitch varie d'une manière significative en fonction de la latitude et de la profondeur, (iii) la glace de mer intègre les changements d'insolation pendant l'été, de sorte que le volume et la surface occupée par la glace de mer oscillent principalement avec la période d'obliquité, et (iv) la glace de mer australe diminue la variabilité de température de l'eau profonde.Deuxièmement, une autre expérience numérique est obtenue pour le dernier million d'années.
