Abstract
Le présent mémoire porte sur la traduction française des recueils de la poétesse canadienne féministe Rupi Kaur, « milk and honey » (2015) et « the sun and her flowers » (2017). Après un premier chapitre décrivant la méthodologie adoptée dans ce travail, le deuxième chapitre présente des éléments biographiques sur l'auteure ainsi que les traits caractéristiques de son œuvre. Les troisième et quatrième chapitres sont d'ordre théorique, traitant, l'un, des notions de poésie et de traduction poétique, et l'autre, du féminisme et de la traduction féministe. Dans le cinquième chapitre, une analyse critique de la traduction française publiée et d'une proposition de traduction féministe personnelle met l'accent sur les principales difficultés rencontrées lors du processus traductif et met en lumière les effets des choix traductifs dans la langue cible. Le chapitre six dresse un bilan général des enjeux et des défis d'une telle traduction.
