IntroduçãoOs Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável das Nações Unidas concentram-se em não deixar ninguém para trás e argumentam que a cobertura universal de saúde não pode ser alcançada sem o fortalecimento da enfermagem mundial (1) .Para atingir esse objetivo, diante das crescentes complexidades da profissão de enfermagem, os objetivos apresentam vários desafios para o ensino e para a realização de pesquisas na área de enfermagem.As faculdades de Enfermagem reiteraram a necessidade de estabelecer parcerias internacionais para combinar recursos e conhecimentos em nível internacional com o intuito de abordar questões globais complexas e interconectadas sobre enfermagem e saúde.Este editorial refletirá a respeito de uma parceria sustentável voltada para o ensino global de enfermagem estabelecida entre uma universidade canadense e uma brasileira.
