espanolLa precariedad laboral, manifiesta en la perdida de empleos formales, el estancamiento de salarios y la incertidumbre laboral, se ha incrementado a escala global. La literatura especializada asocia la precariedad con el modelo de produccion flexible, en lugar de entenderla como constitutiva del capitalismo moderno colonial. El presente articulo analiza la estratificacion de tareas productivas a escala global, desde el sistema de estratificacion racial, un sistema que precisa de la racializacion para explotar y precarizar a las personas. A partir de una investigacion cualitativa, basada en entrevistas realizadas a mujeres mexicanas que viajan con visados a Estados Unidos y Canada, para trabajar temporalmente en la hosteleria, restaurantes, la agricultura y la industria. Mostraremos que las trabajadoras son constituidas como un excedente racializado y sujetas a un visado, lo que permite al empleadoracentuar la explotacion laboral y perpetuar las jerarquias sociales. EnglishJob precariousness, manifested in the loss of formal employment, salary stagnation and job uncertainty, has increased at a global scale. Literature presents precarity associated to the model of flexible production, instead of understanding it as constitutive of the modern colonial capitalism. The present article analyses the stratification of productive tasks at a global scale, from racial stratification, a system that requires racialisation to exploit and peccaries people, through a qualitative piece of research, based on interviews carried out to Mexican women who fly with visa to the USA and Canada to work temporary jobs in catering, farming, and crab factory. We will show that workers are constituted as a racialized surplus and subject to visas, and this relationship allows the employer to aggravate labour exploitation and perpetuate social hierarchies.
