Abstract
Objective To study the effect of comprehensive intervention on enhancing subjective well - being of the empty nest elderly patients with urinary incontinenceMethods A total of 56 patients were divided into control and experimental groups, each group had 28 cases. The experimental group was given the comprehensive intervention, and Memorial University of Newfoundland Happiness Scale (MUNSH) was used before and after the intervention. Results After intervention, the subjective well - being of the empty nest elderly patients with urinary incontinence was improved, and the subjective well - being of husband and wife residing together group was better than that of living alone group. At the same time, after intervention, the patients' symptoms of urinary incontinence was improved significantly. Conclusions Comprehensive intervention will improve mental health and healthy lifestyles of the empty nest elderly patients with urinary incontinence, help them form a positive mind and adherer to recovery training, so that the quality of life and subjective well - being will be improved.
