Abstract
Comment traduire l'image? Ou alors, comment se servir de l'image pour traduire? Cet article s'inscrit dans un travail de recherche portant sur la traduction d'un recueil de pieces bilingues (francais-anglais) du Franco-Manitobain Marc Prescott. Ce recueil, Big, Bullshit et Sex, lies et les F-M. , contient les trois pieces de theâtre dans lesquelles l'auteur joue avec l'hybridite linguistique a differents niveaux. Ailleurs, j'ai explore ces deploiements particuliers de la langue, mais il sera surtout question ici du potentiel de l'image pour faire devier la traduction theâtrale.
