Abstract
Depuis que la traduction est entrée dans le contexte universitaire, les traductologues tentent de proposer la meilleure manière de former les futurs traducteurs, montrant ainsi leur souci de faire de leur discipline un champ de recherche en constant développement. Au Canada, cette préoccupation pour l’innovation est très présente dans la formation des traducteurs. Malgré d’excellents progrès dans ce sens, la recherche en pédagogie de la traduction pourrait bénéficier du lien interdisciplinaire qui peut s’établir entre la formation des traducteurs et la riche tradition de recherche en sciences de l’éducation. L’objectif de notre réflexion est, d’une part, de présenter quelques arguments en faveur d’une consolidation des liens interdisciplinaires entre la traductologie et les sciences de l’éducation, et d’autre part, d’insister sur l’importance de fonder la formation des traducteurs sur une meilleure collaboration entre les formateurs de traducteurs et les fournisseurs de services de traduction au Canada.
