Ce mémoire s’intéresse aux expériences des femmes autochtones survivantes de violence coloniale en contexte québécois. Il vise à contribuer au débat par la mise en avant des expériences des femmes autochtones, en restituant les paroles des survivantes sur la question de la violence à leur endroit. Nous présenterons les stratégies de résilience que ces récits révèlent, afin de mettre un terme à la vision culpabilisante/victimaire que nous avons à l’encontre de ces femmes et de rendre compte de leur agentivité. Ce mémoire repose sur une approche qualitative et biographique pour analyser les récits des femmes autochtones survivantes. La posture féministe postcoloniale exige une réflexion sur la positionnalité de l’autrice. Cette positionnalité s’articule au fait qu’elle est une femme racisée issue de l’immigration postcoloniale des anciennes colonies françaises et vivant sur des territoires autochtones non-cédés. L’ancrage de ce positionnement dans le travail a été fait à travers une approche autoethnographique critique ainsi que par la théorie du positionnement féministe.
