Тургенева» (Россия) ТАРИФНЫЙ ВОПРОС В БРИТАНО-АМЕРИКАНО-КАНАДСКИХ ЭКОНОМИЧЕСКИХ ОТНОШЕНИЯХ КОНЦА XIX -НАЧАЛА XX вв.В статье рассматривается влияние американской тарифной политики на комплекс американо-канадских, британоамериканских британо-канадских отношений.Протекционистские тарифы США (в частности, тариф Мак-Кинли, тариф Пейна-Олдрича), принимаемые в конце XIX -начале XX вв., существенно влияли на торговлю и экономические отношения Соединенных Штатов и Канады.Между странами наметилось определенное сближение, которое не могло не обеспокоить Великобританию, ведь Канада являлась ее доминионом.При этом, создавать очевидные препятствия для налаживания американо-канадских отношений Британская империя не могла, хотя парламент и высказывал определенное недовольство по данному поводу.Попытка США найти новые рынки сбыта своих товаров осложняла отношения с Великобританией, поскольку сферы влияния двух стран пересекались.Экономические отношения не могут рассматриваться в отрыве от политического взаимодействия государств, поэтому столкновение интересов Лондона и Вашингтона в области торговли осложняло "великое сближение" между странами.Стабилизация двусторонних отношений этих стран зависела не просто от экономической конъюнктуры, а от распределения сфер влияния.Несмотря на наличие противоречий
