Abstract
This chapter presents microgrid use cases that have been developed in terms of use case description, actor roles, information exchange and associations between objects of use case, and regulations. Only the use cases that have been identified as relevant for smart microgrid implementation are presented. The chapter covers three publicly available use cases, namely, the energy management system (EMS) functional requirements, protection, and intentional islanding as provided by the Oakridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The microgrid protection controller communicates with the microgrid supervisory control and data acquisition (MG SCADA) periodically to update the system status and determine the protection schemes and settings accordingly. Updated protection settings are distributed through communication links from the protection controller to all the protection devices with communication facilities. The microgrid controller initiates the process of intentional islanding transition by dispatching islanding transition commands to the actors of the microgrid.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from it
